Singapore CHEE SENG OIL FACTORY (PRIVATE) LIMITED Full time

The Production Technician supports production operations within the factory by performing routine maintenance work on the production machinery and equipment. He/she follows instructions and schedules closely for conducting predictive maintenance work. He works closely with the Production Engineer in maintaining smooth running of the production machinery and equipment, to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) for minimising downtime and production costs are met.

He works on shifts in the factory with pleasant working environment. He has keen interest in production machinery, andis able tointeract effectively with other stakeholders to ensure that all production equipment-related issues are resolved appropriately and efficiently, while complying with food safety and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities -**
- Operate computerisedsystems during production operations
- Conduct in-process system monitoring and system troubleshooting during production operations
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment and machines
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance activities
- Execute emergency breakdown protocols
- Assist in resolving downtime issues
- Prepare monthly report on production performance for Management
- Maintain compliance with cleanliness standards, safety regulations and company requirements during production cycles
- Suggest improvements in the maintenance processes

**Qualifications & Experience -**
- Diploma/ Higher Nitec/ Nitec in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel preferred
