Global Research offers fundamental, cross-asset, technical and quantitative analysis presented through multiple platforms and formats.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **ASEAN Research Associate.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Position Overview:
The Equity Research Associate will work closely with senior analysts in ASEAN region, assist in analysing and covering ASEAN-listed companies and sectors. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed financial models, writing research reports, supporting the efforts of senior analysts and contributing to investment recommendations for our clients.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial models and valuation for ASEAN companies. Maintain and update financial database
- Conduct thorough industry and company research including analysing financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to support investment thesis
- Draft research reports, providing insights on financial performance, industry trends and investment ideas
- Track and interpret market news, economic developments and company-specific events, and provide actionable investment ideas
- Assist in preparing materials and presentations for client meetings, liaise company - client meetings and fulfil client requests
- Participate in earnings calls, investor conferences and company meetings, develop corporate and industry contacts
Requirements
- Strong analytical, quantitative, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques and financial modelling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, proficiency in additional ASEAN language is a plus
- Team player, diligent, organised and inquisitive
