[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS ASSETS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the Bus Assets team to develop and execute initiatives to enhance our asset management practices, processes and system. Additionally, you will be involved in the:
1. Development, implementation and administration of bus fleet operation monitoring system capabilities and features; and

2. Management and conduct of electric bus charging interoperability test at bus infrastructures.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
(A) Work with internal stakeholders, project lead(s), Public Transport Operators and system vendor(s) to develop and implement the bus fleet operation monitoring system. The scope of work includes:

- Specifying user requirements in consultation with user groups, develop dashboard reporting and conduct User Acceptance Tests for the bus fleet operation monitoring system to ensure an effective and fit for purpose bus fleet monitoring system
- After system implementation and commission, to administer and manage the bus fleet operation monitoring system, including resolution of any issues or error reported by the user groups, and its user rights access

(B) Work with internal stakeholders, Public Transport Operators, bus supplier(s) and charger supplier(s) to conduct interoperability testing(s) of electric buses with chargers at every infrastructure. The scope of work includes:

- Planning and establishing the standard operation procedures and test scenarios for the interoperability testing
- Conducting and manage the tests and resolving all systems issues to ensure electric bus interoperable charging capabilities

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification preferably in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience in maintenance of buses; and 2 years of working experience in fleet operations
- Familiar with diesel/hybrid/electric vehicles topologies
- Good presentation, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Analytical with a mind towards problem-solving
- Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
