**QC Laboratory Technician (Shift)**:

We are looking for a **QC Laboratory Technician** **(Shift)** to join our Laboratory team in Neste Singapore.

We have a small team of experts working in Laboratory. Our team is responsible for performing chemical testing of sample, maintaining complete and accurate recordings of test results and advise stakeholders on the significance of test results and follow up with appropriate course of actions.

**Your part in Neste journey**

In this role, your main responsibilities include
- Perform chemical testing of sample accurately in accordance to specified methods in timely manner and results are released with minimum delay
- Prepare chemical stock standard solution and reagents
- Maintain complete and accurate recordings of test results
- Advise on the significance of test results and follow up with appropriate course of actions
- Fully responsible for the assigned analytical methods and instruments and ensure their readiness for testing at all times, which include taking care of the reference standard, calibration, maintenance, spare parts, etc.
- Review lab results which include calibration and performance check results
- Maintain all labs document / data recordings and ensure these are quality compliance and audit ready
- To upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
- Arrange the collection of lab waste and perform E-tracking for lab waste collected
- Create and update instructions, procedures and reports
- Participate in risk management team to conduct/review risk assessments for new/old tasks
- Be the permit applicant/issuer for task and activities carried out in the lab area
- Be the first aider and team member for the ERT team

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that sample analysis assigned is completed in an efficient manner and in conformance with company quality control policies. You are also expected to perform the lab activities strictly in accordance to company HSE policies and procedures.

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- _Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline_
- _Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas industry will be an added advantage_
- _Hands-on experience of laboratory instruments / Equipment_
- _Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills_

The recruitment process will include interviews and possible aptitude assessment.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination. A security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent.
