**We will rely on you to**:

- Engage with clients and prospects to assess their needs
- Manage and execute the renewal process for existing reinsurance contracts and programs
- Analyze risks and assist with developing solutions for clients’ needs
- Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and participate in presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiate competitive pricing, and terms and conditions with reinsurers to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Maintain a deep understanding of market changes and conditions to better serve clients and secure the best terms from the reinsurers
- Ensure timely flow of materials and follow-up on contract documentation
- Assist with responding to client queries and resolving issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate and meet client requests
- Keep up with changing market conditions and inform client executives, carriers, brokers and/or clients of major development affecting various types of coverage
- Demonstrate an excellent grasp of product lines, markets and available solutions, as well as staying up-to-date with changing risk and insurance market trends

**What you need to have**:

- Prior client-facing experience in the reinsurance industry
- Technical reinsurance expertise in property, personal accident, and/or casualty segments is preferred
- Prior experience in treaty broking and/or underwriting would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity to learn
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and to work in a team
