Job Description
The Master Scheduler shapes, and controlling the monthly master schedule and ensure a smooth flow of supply to global distribution centres. The Master Schedule is a planned build schedule in weekly capacity-constrained buckets that is derived from the “Sales and Operations Planning” output. The monthly master schedule is what guides the forecast for purchased materials. Establishing the master schedule will involve working with the Demand Managers, Production Control Analysts, and Central Material Analysts to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the our goals relative to customer service, resource/capacity use and inventory investment.

Your Responsibilities:
- Manage load to the Manufacturing plants such that the aggregate output each week is following the S&OP.- Work with Demand Managers to determine:
- Proper mix of products to be produced- Material Planning Support for new product introductions- Achievable product phase out plans to minimise excess and obsolete liability- Work with the Production Control Analysts and Manufacturing Engineers to thoroughly understand and advise on managing short-term/long-term capacities to minimise the cause for past due orders or overtime.- Work with the Production Control Analysts to help balance and coordinate the plant load based on material/capacity availability.- Work with the Demand Planners to develop and provide a monthly updated Supply Plan communicated in units covering the expected demand for each product family that you are responsible for over an 18 month period.- Work with plant Finance to understand the impact master scheduling have on the plant's financials.- Manage the accuracy and effectiveness of the master schedules to rationally adjust forecast and to improve the master scheduling process.- Review and set planning parameters, such as Safety Stock, Stocking Strategy and Lot size in global distribution centres- Work regional CC and logistics teams to monitor flow of supply, resolve supply gaps relating to all finished goods in the global distribution centres which you will be responsible for.- Tracking, reporting the appropriate Measurements, as well as, suggest and implement plant-specific improvement activities (i.e. Must monitor actual performance against the MPS and production plan, and provide a summary of operation results for management).- Tracing, reporting service and inventory projection to resolve the service and inventory gaps- Monitor inventory level vs. targets, identify excess and obsolescent inventory, and propose and perform disposition and rebalancing plans.ortant responsibilities))
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent.- Seven years of experience or more in manufacturing scheduling, analysing data relating to product forecasting, master scheduling, asset management, or shipment forecasting.- With limited time and information -.- Collaborate across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources.- , with a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.- , independent problem resolution, necessary to be throughout the company and levels, and the ability to manage the requirement of others not directly supervised.- Proficient software and PC skills, with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Visio.- Organizely perform assigned tasks promptly.- Global business proficiency and understanding.- Work with the global team members well and is a team player
