About the job:
The Red hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Enterprise Sales team is looking for an experienced APAC Sales Enablement Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will report to the APAC Enterprise Leader and APAC Enablement Leader and be a member of the APAC Enterprise and APAC Enablement strategic team delivering high value to customer-facing sales teams. You will work with these leaders to deliver initiatives and resources that enhance the skills, competencies, and confidence of the in-region sales teams to meet Red Hat APAC’s growth objectives. This role will require using your sales experience to effectively identify long and short term programs that integrate global and regional requirements, and ensuring programs capture and reflect regional market realities. You will also develop learning paths and manage outcomes to continuously improve sales competencies.
As part of a broader remote team, you will work to ensure that all enablement resources across the region (APAC Enablement and Sales Enablement Development) are aligned to achieve the strategic global and regional goals in support of the business.
What you will do:
- Lead as the single enablement advisor for sales segments in managing holistic enablement strategy integrating product and portfolio knowledge, selling skills and use case and sales plays capabilities for sales, that is closely aligned with APAC business priorities
- Lead sales enablement strategy and delivery for field sales roles
- Structure the approach for business alignment, engagements, and promoting business outcomes through a solid and deliverable enablement plan
- Understand the sales roles, competencies, maturities, and development needs of field sales teams; deliver role-based training sessions as required
- Translate business needs to an enablement plan; assess performance of APAC sales teams with sales leaders and members of the Enablement team to prioritize enablement strategies and tactics and deliver to the field
- Plan and use data for insights to increase outcomes and reinforcement strategy
- Partner with local sellers and first-line managers to deliver development programs and processes that meet the requirements of sales executives, inside sales teams, and sales related functions
- Establish, design, and implement clearly defined enablement metrics and targets to promote and measure program impact and effectiveness
- Establish a steady business rhythm and engagement with Sales Leadership, Global stakeholders, and APAC Enablement to steer results and outcomes
- Lead and manage end to end Enablement programs and initiatives to the field sales
- Work directly with global sales enablement, curriculum managers and Red Hat University to regionalize sales enablement programs, where necessary, for sales teams
- Manage multiple programs simultaneously, as determined based on need prioritization
- Use diagnostic tools and surveys to uncover gaps in current programs, processes, and skills in APAC field sales roles
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of experience in managing programs and project management for sales enablement initiatives, ideally for a software, hardware, or systems integrator
- Ability to take high-level sales strategies and develop structured plans, actions, and metrics to measure during delivery
- Solid program management and multitasking skills to manage disparate enablement programs
- Familiarity with the sales process
- Solid personal interest in open source technologies
- Proven ability to work on your own, navigate a complex environment, and deliver flawlessly in a fast-paced environment and matrixed organization
- Proactive problem-solver
- Solid detail orientation, ability to stay motivated, and motivate others to meet deadlines through influencing without authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver influential messages in professional work environment with all levels of Red Hat associates
- Ability to take morning or night conference meetings to ensure collaboration with Global and APAC counterparts
