Varel Singapore, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is set to open in **Q4 2025**, introducing a new benchmark in hospitality. As we prepare to welcome guests, we seek a strategic and results-driven **Director of Rooms** to lead the division with expertise, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.

**The Role**

This leadership position oversees all aspects of the **Rooms Division**, including **Front Office, Guest Services, and Housekeeping**. The **Director of Rooms** plays a key role in ensuring seamless guest experiences, optimizing performance, and upholding **Marriott brand standards** while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **strategic leadership** to shape the Rooms Division and ensure the highest standards of service and operational efficiency.
- Drive **pre-opening readiness**, setting up seamless systems, SOPs, and training to position Varel Singapore for long-term success.
- Maintain rigorous **financial oversight**, including budgeting, revenue strategies, labor cost control, and forecasting.
- Champion **guest satisfaction** through personalized interactions, prompt issue resolution, and VIP recognition programs.
- Implement **cutting-edge inventory management** practices to optimize costs and sustainability across housekeeping and guest services.
- Collaborate across departments to uphold **Varel’s standards of excellence**, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Uphold **compliance and safety protocols**, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, emergency procedures, and brand guidelines.

**Qualifications**
- Leadership experience in a **4-5 star hotel**, with a strong preference for **pre-opening expertise**.
- Proven track record in managing Rooms Division operations, driving guest satisfaction, and optimizing financial performance.
- **Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma** in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Exceptional **leadership abilities** with a talent for team development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of **Marriott International standards** and compliance requirements.
- Effective **communication skills**, with the ability to engage and collaborate across diverse teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
