Our Client is Japanese trading Company. The role of the Middle Office Support is to perform Middle Office (MO) tasks for the Refined Metal Division (RMD). The MO is responsible for managing the operational activities of the RMD, which involves monitoring and evaluating the division's risk exposure, conducting comprehensive profit and loss calculations and analyses for RMD, and generating reports crucial for ensuring seamless divisional operations. Reporting to Middle Office Manager
【 What you will be doing 】
Trade Book Data Management (30%)
- Conduct daily checking to ensure the accuracy of trade book data, promptly identifying and rectifying any incorrect information through effective communication with the Front Office and Trade Operations.

Risk Position Monitoring and Reporting (20%)
- Provide diligent oversight of the division's risk positions and prepare comprehensive reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

P&L Calculation and Analysis for Divisional Reporting (30%)
- Calculate and analyze divisional Profit and Loss (P&L) using trade book and market data.
- Prepare accurate and informative reports based on P&L analysis.

Administrative and Coordination (10%)
- Execute internal coordination and administrative duties associated with MO jobs, encompassing tasks such as implementing internal control changes, facilitating system development, and organizing folders.

Other Supporting Functions (10%)
- Prepare market report analyses and handle any ad hoc requirements.
- ** Requirement**:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the commodity trading environment.
- Degree in Business / Finance & Accounting / Engineering / Statistical from a recognized university
- Enjoy working with numerical data, analyzing trends, graphs, and identifying discrepancies.
- Meticulous and pay a high level of attention to accuracy and details.
- Able to build a good rapport and communicate the information well to other Divisions.
- Have initiative and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Familiar with middle, front, and back-office functions, such as hedging and derivatives.
- Background in trade management systems will be advantageous.
