Professional Software Architect

**Your role**:
As a Professional Software Architect in Adnovum, apart from working with technical stakeholders, you will also collaborate with Sales, Account Manager, Project Manager or other stakeholders in both project or pre-sales context. Your responsibilities will be the following:

- Responsible for creating and overseeing the architecture and design of small, medium and large size projects, maintaining the architecture quality throughout the entire project life-cycle
- Responsible for meeting functional and non-functional requirements knowing technical and non-technical constraints
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to customer (private or government sectors) policies
- Responsible for anticipating and mitigating risks (business/technical/cultural) regarding economic and timeline of the project
- Responsible for leading and motivating teams (onshore and offshore members) with diversified background
- Hands-on experience in Software development and cutting edge technologies listed below
- Supporting the sales team from the beginning of a sales cycle to understand client's overall business and technology direction
- Promoting customer advocacy and building trusted relationship with the key stakeholders of our clients
- Managing and running discovery phase in order to determine customer needs
- Preparing overall technical solution and efforts estimation for request for proposal in both government and commercial sectors (e.g. tender proposal write-up and response to RFP)
- Experience on writing technical documents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on working experience
- Excellent English communication skills both spoken and written
- Adept at the following:

- Java EE enterprise web solution stacks (e.g. JSP, Servlet, JSTL, JAX-RS/WS, JTA, JPA, JMS)
- Microservices development
- API development
- Spring: Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Integration
- HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Bootstrap, React, Node.js
- Database design and modelling (e.g. MSSQL, Oracle DB)
- Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Cloud: Azure, AWS. GCC
- Proficiency in software architecture design principles and practices
- Proficiency in OO design, design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience in agile software development (e.g. TDD, CI/CD and DevOps automation)
- Experience in writing technical documents and providing effort estimations
- A clear understanding of system architecture and infrastructure environments
- Team lead experience with good planning and mentoring skills
- Customer-facing experience with effective interaction and negotiation skills
- A proactive mindset that is creative and solution-oriented
- Strong team player with effective communication skills
- Strong plus to have:_
- Solid project experience with BFSI or Singapore government agencies
- Relevant experience in:

- Business analysis and software requirements engineering
- Tender proposal write-up, technical solution and overall effort estimation
- Business process automation and management systems (BPMS)
- Extensive experience in the banking domain
- Linux server administration
- Shell scripting or Python
- AI/ML Implementations
