Product Director

**REPORTING TO**:Head of Program (Population Health)**:
**In Brief**:
The product director works in the frontline, intimately working with clients and users to identify product opportunities, functional requirements, and iron out various business processes. The product director will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to obtain the high-level product strategy and roadmap it into a list of actionable development tasks that ensure our products meet the needs of the user personas.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Develop product strategy, plan release features, deliver timelines and relevant product updates (written and prototype) to the leadership team
- Market Requirement Documents, Business Requirement Documents, Product Requirement Documents
- Own P&L for product lines under health management, ensure the investments are made to improve efficiency and reduce implementation costs

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop concepts, define user journeys, brief prototypes, form hypotheses and run experiments; and develop the business case for new products and improvements to existing products
- Work closely with stakeholder groups to understand and gather business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business objectives
- Participate in internal and external support for activities related to sales, marketing, services and other departments
- Prioritize product features, manage backlogs and own the product roadmap
- Proactively contributes to product management best practices for the company
- Responsible for internal and external communication and documentation related to the product to ensure appropriate training, end-user documentation, release notes, and product marketing efforts
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, clinical experts, data scientists, and other PMs to build new feature sets and enhance existing ones
- Ensure cohesiveness in the overall product deliverables
- Communicate progress on initiatives to various levels of the organization, including progress against goals and key product metrics
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to Executives as needed
- Proactive monitoring of the market and competitor landscape, providing timely updates to the team
- Identify business requirements and client requirements and subsequently turn them into product requirements

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business, or healthcare
- A minimum of 5 years of product management experience
- Track record of product development and launch that includes but is not limited to developing initial product concepts, gathering requirements, supporting agile development sprints, planning initial and iterative market launches, user acceptance testing, performance analysis and end-of-life planning
- Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving, thoughtful product scoping, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, time management, and presentation skills. High comfort level interacting with colleagues and with various levels of client organizations
- Strong sense of customer service to consistently and effectively addresses customer needs
- Proven track record of facilitating cross-departmental issue identification, problem-solving, and resolution
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and adhere to data security and confidentiality protocols and procedures
- Proficiency with product and development management tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Azure DevOps, Jira)
- The flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive product launch schedules
- Ability to work independently. Self-starter, can-do attitude, ability to multitask and prioritize complex projects
