Position Summary
The Macallan Brand Ambassador, GTR’s role is to engage and build frontline retail capability across APAC Travel Retail markets (excluding Greater China), adapting global education assets to deliver impactful training programmes at market level, in collaboration with Duty Free Operators and Domestic Teams. They are required to inspire and educate frontline retail teams, equipping them with the necessary skills to deliver incomparable retail experiences.
As a secondary focus, The Macallan Brand Ambassador supports major brand initiatives, and helps deliver targeted portfolio performance in experiential retail spaces and events, supporting the Regional Education Manager, GTR.
The role will involve frequent event hosting and travel within the region of location, and to Scotland to liaise with the global brand and distillery teams.
It is vital that The Macallan Brand Ambassador embodies the essence of the brand in both appearance, behaviour and delivery of key brand messages.

**Job Description**:

The Brand Ambassador is the face of The Macallan brand in APAC Travel Retail with a focus in the key locations of Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul and Taipei.
Specifically, they are accountable for (but not limited to):

- Delivering best-in-class Educational Programmes to the APAC Travel Retail region, adapting content to market needs whilst maintaining global synergy with the Regional Education Manager and the China Brand Specialist, elevating brand confidence within priority travel retail locations, inspiring brand advocacy and ensuring front of mind presence for shoppers.
- Developing relationships with frontline retail teams and be the driving force behind delivering an incomparable retail experience to every visitor, as well as training and supporting the implementation of new rituals and tools.
- Work with internal commercial and customer marketing teams to develop the regional training schedule and collaborate with domestic training resource to achieve coverage of key travel retail locations across APAC markets.
- Acting as the regional host for unique brand experiences and masterclasses.
- Collaborating with The Macallan Global Education Programme Manager and actively contributing as part of the global education and marketeer network.
- Identifying key brand building initiatives for The Macallan in collaboration with local commercial teams.

Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent gained via work experience within the luxury retail environment
- Capable in creating Educational Content such as Brand Presentations, Learning Workshops, Collaterals and Videos to a high standard, with the ability to manage agency briefing and project delivery autonomously
- Feedback and Coaching Skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required. Additional Asian Languages are a plus.
- Must be of an age that adheres to Edrington’s Marketing Code of Conduct for responsible alcohol marketing
