Founded in 1925, the firm practices disciplined entrepreneurship while building on a long tradition of serving clients with creative solutions and considered thought leadership. **Job / Group overview** The AEJ Talent team is responsible for all aspects of Talent Management including Learning and Development and Performance Management. Nomura’s Talent Management strategy is developed in alignment with the overall business strategy and talent goals. The team partners closely with HR colleagues in AEJ, Talent colleagues in other regions, and cross-regional clients. This role reports into the Regional Head of Talent for AEJ. This role is a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to partner with senior leaders from across the firm. A motivated, creative and highly effective operator will succeed in this position, one that offers a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced industry and the opportunity to be part of a passionate and sharp global team to make a widespread impact on the people in a leading global investment bank. **Responsibilities** - Form collaborative relationships with Human Resources Business Partners and key business stakeholders in order to execute talent strategies and efforts to support the growth/strategic objectives of the company - Through current and future needs analysis, build a solid understand of the development needs across all levels - Conduct stakeholder analysis to determine development priorities on a group and individual basis - Design, develop, implement talent development programs as a part of core curriculum, targeted and induction offerings - Some program and workshop delivery / facilitation as needed - Lead and/or contribute to ad hoc Learning and Development projects as required, both global and regional - Source and manage vendors - Represent the firm at interbank and cross-industry events **Requirements**: - Minimum Bachelor's Degree - Minimum 7 years in Learning & Development/Talent Development/HR ; Experience creating and delivering training programs - Understanding of the investment banking industry, including having run Banking and Markets L&D initiatives - Strong project management and coordination skills; - Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into organization development plans; Can deliver within tight timelines - Experience with business intelligence / visualization tools - Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Ability to work and build relationships with multiple diverse stakeholders, both with the business and HR Advisors - Excellent written, oral and positive influential interpersonal skills - High degree of inter-cultural awareness and agility - Results-oriented and "hands-on" approach - Must be an independent thinker, possess strong organization skills, strong customer focus and orientation **Regional Disclaimers / Diversity Statement** **Diversity Statement** Nomura is committed to an employment policy of equal opportunities, and is fundamentally opposed to any less favourable treatment accorded to existing or potential members of staff on the grounds of race, creed, colour, nationality, disability, marital status, pregnancy, gender or sexual orientation. **DISCLAIMER**:This Job Description is for reference only, and whilst this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, it is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
