Product Test Engineer

**Job Duties**:
Design verification and validation
- To understand and follow design verification test procedure and setup accurately.
- To perform full design verification tests or experiments as needed to support or confirm the design with proper written report for new product design, legacy product and competitor model, including functional tests and reliability tests, like thermal test, EMI/EMCtest.
- To work closely with design engineer on projects and expected to provide a summary of DVT report and issues encountered.
- To perform tests and experiments by following the test matrix to select and qualify the alternative component.
- To have good soldering skill for board modification and prototype preparation, including magnetic components buildingfollowing formal and marked-up drawing.
- Ability to understand and analyse power supply circuit, safety requirement and mechanical construction will be an added advantage.

Failure Analysis
- Troubleshoot power supplies to identify root cause and provide feedback to Quality, Manufacturing & Design teams to discuss thesolution to drive the design improvement or design changes.

Customer Support
- Perform tests and experiments as needed to support or confirm customer issues.
- Prepare and present the customer failure analysis reports.

Laboratory Maintenance and others
- Supporting on equipment annual calibration and general house keeping.
- May be required to support team / supervisor on other tasks.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- **Preferably more than 2 years’ experience in power electronics design and evaluation.**:

- Fresh graduate with good academic results is welcome to apply.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 - Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint. Experience in Power Platform is a strongplus.
- Result-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate for continuous improvement.
- Good technical writing capabilities, excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Hardworking, dynamic, strong sense of responsibility and a good team player.
