**_Where you would value add _**

Reporting to the Director of Vitality IT, the Lead Business Architect will be responsible to architect and design system processes and flows for the Vitality product, liaises with the respective markets on business requirements and needs. The Lead Business Architect will also manage a team of business and systems analysts, systems architects and vendor developers to deliver the systems that run the Vitality programme within most of the Asian/Australasian markets.

- Create a high-level architectural design, logical design, high level mapping (data, processes), and Information Flow
- Describe the target business architecture vision within the context of the baseline Architecture and a roadmap on how to achieve that vision
- Reviewing and enhancing catalogues of defined Business Architecture elements bringing alignment across the enterprise
- Work closely with system and enterprise architect to ensure alignment of business architecture through to systems architecture creating a cohesive solution
- Help to bring alignment across the enterprise capabilities creating uniformity in product experience across the enterprise domain. Incorporates multiple architectural views to support stakeholder and delivery team during the design and delivery of products
- Help to define and engage in the definition of a new business product / changes to existing business product, through consulting on feasibility of existing models / capabilities and leveraging off current people, process and technology to maximize product / benefit uptake
- Ensure appropriate solution design which meets the strategic fulfillment of the business unit capability using appropriate technology, collaborating with the solutions and Enterprise architects
- Ability to successfully negotiate product/solution alternatives
- Effective communication skills, problem-solving aptitude and good vision
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems problems
- Lead a team of analysts, architects and vendor developers, managing task allocations and output
- Mentor and support other staff
- Review and input into documentation created by internal teams and external teams
- Layout strategic plans for team rollout for the next 2-3 years
- Revise and update business requirements documentation for the Vitality IT platform
- Consult and work with business units Vitality sponsors to generate business requirements
- Assist in operational rollout and support
- Work with offshore and onshore development teams to ensure the implementation and design matches the business requirements
- Quality assurance gate for deliverables

**_What you need to be successful _**

Experience preferred with the following:

- BSc Informatics/Computer Science or related degree
- Process knowledge of SDLC, Project Management, Business architecture
- 10+ years with business requirements analysis and documentation
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in software development implementation
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a team lead capacity
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Business Architecture Essential
- 5+ years’ experience in managing large scale projects
- 5+ years’ experience in managing teams with multiple skill sets
- Strong knowledge of Data modelling techniques, UML process design, Usability design Essential
- Experience using tools such as Postman to test JSON APIs
- Experience in implementing business rules designs
