Operations and Supply Chain Manager

The Operations and Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the storage and distribution of the company's products. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership to our operations team which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational procedures.

The number of units being stored and orders being fulfilled is poised to scale up significantly in the coming year and we will need someone data-driven to plan capacities and optimal storage, shipping routes, and last mile delivery logistics to optimize speed and cost for the optimal customer experience.

**What You'll Do**:
A. Operations Management:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between teams to meet objectives and KPIs.
- Continuously monitor processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational effectiveness.

B. Logistics Coordination:

- Collaborate with 3PLs and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, negotiating contracts, and managing performance to meet service level agreements.

C. Supply Chain Optimization:

- Strategically manage the supply chain to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce lead times.
- Conduct regular analysis of supply chain data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement inventory management systems and processes to enhance accuracy, visibility, and control.

D. Operations Team Management:

- Lead and provide guidance to the Operations team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
- Set clear goals and objectives, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets or exceeds established KPIs and targets.

**Who You Are**:

- At least 8 years of experience in retail and ecommerce operations and logistics, supply chain and vendor management
- A degree in business operations & supply chain management, engineering or equivalent courses is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Solid experience in setting up and managing 3PLs and other subcontractors
- Adept at using spreadsheets to determine costs, profit, ROI and other key operational metrics
- Knowledgeable in Logistics Operation and Transportation Management.
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly
- Organized and has keen attention to detail
