Accountant Consultant

Responsibilities/Main Activities:

- Monitor AR, AP, GL, inter-company transactions of new business unit
- Responsible for monthly financial closing and reporting of new business unit
- Responsible for forecast/budget of new business unit
- Ensure compliance with all Corporate and Accounting policies and reporting deadlines
- Support management and staff of new business unit
- Project Accounting covering project creation, billing, revenue recognition, margin analysis, utilization report, project P&L report
- Revenue recognition - prepare Revenue Recognition Assessment for Country Controller to review
- Assist local Accountants with Standalone Selling Price (SSP study / sub part F reports)
- To work with legal and APAC finance team to migrate contracts to new business unit
- Assistance in order processing liaising with all relevant stakeholders
- Assistance in contract renewal analysis and tracking
- Headcount report
- Ad-hoc projects/reports as required

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- In depth knowledge and working experience in the Enterprise Software Industry
- Deadline driven with a track record of planning, organizing and prioritizing.
- Knowledge of Great Plains, GP PA and SAP BPC or Onestream would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)/taxes in APAC countries
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fast learner, picking up a new environment and relationship, 'can do' attitude & hands-on approach
- Flexibility to work across different time zones when required
- Strong people skills, influencing and giving constructive feedback

**Accounting Consultant** focused on handle all Finance matters including liaising with internal and external parties, support the accounting team, compliance, reporting in APAC.

This opportunity is 6 month contract to cover maternity leave.
