**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Scope**
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations, fixtures, equipment, common areas, and property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal working condition.
- Carry out minor building, mechanical, and electrical repairs, as well as general handyman tasks (such as replacing light bulbs, resetting drawer locks, etc.).
- Monitor and address maintenance service requests, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions for any equipment breakdowns or faults identified during routine checks, servicing, or maintenance.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of key facilities, systems, and critical areas.
- Oversee and coordinate the rectification of defects, maintenance, replacements, and upgrades performed by contractors.
- Supervise contractors and vendors carrying out maintenance work on building facilities (e.g., building maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical systems (M&E),horticulture, cleaning, pest control, etc.).
- Monitor utility consumption by recording water and electricity meter readings, and report any unusual or excessive usage.
- Assist in fire safety management, emergency response procedures, and the development of business continuity plans for the Authority's premises.
- Collaborate with the Authority’s staff on projects and maintenance work, ensuring adherence to fire, health, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with audio-visual and cleaning contractors to set up meeting venues, including arranging seating and equipment.
- Update and maintain information databases and records for engineering systems, including breakdown reports.
- Perform any other facilities management tasks or related duties arising from building operations and requirements.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum three (3) years’ relevant experience in building operation and maintenance of building facilities.
- We welcome those with a minimum of a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or Mechanical and Electrical Services or equivalent.
- Experience with electrical systems, uninterruptible power supplies, generators, FM200, fire alarms, sprinklers, as well as high and low voltage switchboards will be an advantage.
- Additional qualifications such as an Electrical Worker License, Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Associate), or Green Mark Facilities Manager certification are highly desirable.
- A self-motivated individual who works well independently and as part of a team, comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
