- Start-up experience or fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience underwriting financial institutions especially credit policy, scoring framework
- Singapore Regulatory/ regulatory liaison experience.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- The role requires capability of a Credit Underwriting professional who is creative, motivated and innovative to produce underwriting portfolio.
- Preferably professional experiences from credit / mortgage loan segment in the fintech companies or any financial banking institutions, neo-banks, etc. Or familiar with financial products' underwriting requirements and complex policies making.
- Measuring, monitoring and analysing corporate credit risks with a certain level of authority and limited direct supervision.
- Possess ability to evaluate risk, compliance, regulations across different size of accounts and structure appropriate solutions for all accounts.
- Hands-on experiences in commercial P&C underwriting in credit policy, scoring.
- Develop and implement rating models and management processes for corporate and institutional obligors and ensure a robust rating and pricing framework.
- Implement and provide leadership for effective credit risk management and a robust framework and methodologies, recognising and incorporating the linkages between risk types.
- Perform data management and maintenance required to support the needs, integrity and performance of corporate credit portfolio management and related risk framework and methodologies, including forward-looking view of the portfolio.
- Prepare and present a qualitatively and quantitatively sound and effective credit proposal.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, good listening skill.
- Navigates organizational complexity and breaks silos.
