The **Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) s **hall assist the Chief Executive Officer in the Company and reports to the Board of Directors. The Deputy CEO develops, implements and controls strategic business plans for the company to achieve its corporate objectives and profits. Upon confirmation of probation, the Deputy CEO will be promoted to Executive Director joining the Company’s board of directors.

**Responsibilities **include the following but not limited to:

- To maximise returns for all stakeholders of the Company as the key priority
- To develop a clear vision and direction in setting objectives for the Company
- To implement and execute high-quality business strategies and plans
- To form, lead and maintain high performing teams
- To establish good relationships with business partners and stakeholders
- To ensure Company is in a good position, in relations to cash flow, prudency, risk exposure, internal controls, regulatory compliances, healthy business ethics and practices
- To constantly review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
- To maintain a deep knowledge of the outlook of the markets

**Requirements**:

- Business management experience in ASEAN especially China and SE Asia
- Have engineering and project management experience in infrastructure development
- Have public-listed company management and corporate governance experience
- Have proven tenacity and grit that overcame business challenges
- Have analytical problem-solving skills and able to evolve creative solutions
- Ability to handle fundraising, EPC contractors selection & supervision, leasing/sales
- Ability to analyse and present management accounts, audit reports, board papers
- Can harness directors, officers, staffs, stakeholders, suppliers into a unified force
- Effective communication skills in both English and Chinese (speaking, reading, writing)
