**BUSINESS AREA -** **Singapore Marketing Company, Rare Disease Business Unit**
- AstraZeneca is accelerating the expansion of our geographical footprint in rare diseases following the acquisition of Alexion in 2021. Rare disease is a high-growth therapy area with rapid innovation and significant unmet medical need. Over 7,000 rare diseases are known today - yet less than 1% of them have an approved treatment. As we begin to build our position as a Rare Disease leader, we seek a Senior Product Specialist to join our Rare Disease Business Unit in Singapore._

**What you’ll do**
- Committed to delivering innovative Rare Disease solutions, you will exhibit AstraZeneca’s pro-active propositions to discover new business opportunities and actively influence clinical demands through engagement programmes with long-term relationships with stakeholders._
**Essential for the role**
- University degree
- Valid Class 3/3A driving license
- An accessible vehicle able to be use for work/ on field full time such as a family car, leased vehicle or own vehicle
**Desirable for the role**
- High grades in university degree in natural sciences
- ** You have 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience in **Neurology**, Haematology or Specialty Care Therapeutic Areas.**:
- Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, e.g., mid and senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community
- Execute strategies and business plans to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, access, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
- Convey clear value propositions to HCPs
- Proven track record in influencing the stakeholder decision-making process and creating value in an ecosystem with multiple influential players / decision makers
- Proven demonstration of successful working in complex cross functional teams
This position is **not eligible **for sponsorship of employment visa/work permit in Singapore.
