**Assistant Vice President - Broking Support**

**What can you expect**:

- Work within a highly skilled team that specializes in managing a portfolio of existing accounts whilst working towards the accrual and development of new client accounts.
- Gain significant experience of working within a technical capacity within reinsurance

**We will rely on you to**:

- Manage placement in accordance with appropriate timelines for clients
- Prepare technical analysis of statistics and other underwriting information supporting the negotiation and placement of treaty business
- Prepare treaty slip/wordings and cover notes, ensuring contract certainty
- Prepare Endorsements and Addendums
- Maintain treaty placement correspondence files electronically
- Ensure documentation and electronic filing are as per professional standards
- Prepare quotation sheet and placement sheet during renewal
- Prepare treaty term summary sheet
- Support other incidental duties related to the negotiation and placement of treaty reinsurance contracts

**What you need to have**:

- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in treaty insurance and reinsurance experience would be preferred
- Technical knowledge of reinsurance treaty
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative skills and experience
- Keen to advance with CII qualification (Cert CII)

**What makes you stand out**:

- Prior experience in providing administrative support to clients in preparation of documents in the treaty insurance and a reinsurance sector
- A good understanding of the general principles surrounding treaty insurance or other transferrable skills and attitude will also be relevant
