**Job Description & Requirements**:
The Data Architect Advisor is a pivotal role in a new divisional analytics organization supporting all APAC functions and markets in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Management, Data Analytics, and Data Science.
This is a challenging role that supports APAC business functions and processes with the design, development and implementation of databases, master-and metadata solutions and data management processes, for the purpose of self-service data exploration, reporting and analysis. Next to that you will be an advisor to user groups in APAC on data architecture, database and MDM solutions, user training and adoption.

**Areas of responsibility**
1 - Database and MDM development and implementation
Understand business requirements for data and analysis
Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for data modeling and integration
Design and develop conceptual and logical database schemata, data models, and data integration processes
Develop information architectures; manage data design, content, and definitions
Work with IT teams to implement physical data models in various database formats
Select and coordinate the use of relevant enterprise standards and methods for meta
- and master data management, data lineage, data dictionaries, data federation, data quality management and data stewardship
Coordinate day to day MDM implementation and maintenance activities for core transactional and analytics systems
Design, implement and govern data stewardship and data quality management processes across APAC business functions
Support the adoption and embedding of data stewardship in regular business processes
Conduct or support training sessions and provide coaching to key user groups in APAC
2 - Advisory and project management: Support key APAC business strategies with analytics solutions
Make recommendations for analytics solutions needed to support main business strategies and initiatives; including resources required, functional expertise or systems capabilities
Provide technical expertise and advice on design and development of solutions
Work with peers in Business Analytics, Data Management and Data Science to develop and provide solutions
Build plans; ensure work progress; identify and report success measures
Prepare and present progress reports and outcomes to stakeholders
Collaborate with peers to manage implementation and delivery
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
Education: A Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or similar discipline.
Experience: 5 years of practical database design and development experience in any industry
Expert knowledge of designing, developing and implementing database solutions in one or more leading platforms.
CBIP, CIMP or equivalent accreditation
SAFe Agile certification
Proven experience in master
- and metadata management
Up to date knowledge of developments in the business intelligence & analytics space, including emerging big data technologies
Willingness to learn to work with new tools and technologies
A good understanding of fundamental business principles and problems
Professional skills: influencing & persuasion; judgement & decision making; leadership; planning & organizing. Project management certification is a plus.
Fluency in written and spoken English
