**Summary**

This role will be based in Midea Group's APAC HQ office in Singapore. The incumbent is expected to uncover insights that will empower the business units with their business decisions, primarily in improving customer experience and product development. The incumbent will be responsible for building deep consumer and category understanding in ASEAN region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and analyze consumer trends and user profiles, translate data to insights and provide insightful and actionable recommendations to achieve business goals
- Manage customized projects from start to end, i.e. identify research objectives, design questionnaires, conduct and manage fieldwork, analysis and reporting
- Innovation-related consumer work across the innovation funnel, from identifying white spaces to concept development and testing, and post-launch evaluation
- Lead business intelligence for the category in ASEAN market - tracking category and brand performance, market share, growth and mapping performance and the landscape via various sources of data
- Conduct product launch analysis for new overseas OBM products, such as negative review analysis, launch tracking, customer satisfaction survey, to identify and rectify problems in a timely manner.

**Job Requirement**
- 5-10 years of experience in market research and/or consumer insights.
- Proficient in various quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, usability testing, SPSS, etc. Knowledge of user research methodology and experience in leading projects is preferred.
- Sharp insight, strong collaborative mindset and business acumen
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
- Adept at influencing stakeholders, comfortable navigating a matrixed organizational environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, high working proficiency in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
