Client Servicing and Distributions Manager

**Job Overview**
Investor relations and distribution executive working directly with a single portfolio management team to support the development of its business and increase assets under management. The role presents an opportunity to contribute personally to the success of a early stage funds management business and to be rewarded accordingly.
This role is based in Singapore, will involve regular travel within the Asia Pacific region and is likely to involve additional travel to Europe and the United States.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work closely with the portfolio management team providing support on all business matters
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to the funds and the business, such as legal, prime brokerage, bankers, accountants, administrators, auditors.
- Manage the distribution strategy for multiple illiquid alternative funds products.
- Generate quality sales opportunities that comply with all regulatory, legal and ethical standards for the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, private banks, family offices and HNWIs globally.
- Co-ordinate and manage collegiate working relationships with counterparties at prime brokerage consultancy arms, third party distribution agents and platforms that participate in our distribution ecosystem.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant work experience with quality financial institutions
- 5+ years' relevant experience in asset management, bank, hedge fund, private equity or trading firm
- Excellent knowledge of and experience in asset management operations
- Corporate governance experience
- Demonstrable track record in driving efficiencies and streamlining of processes
- Ability to work to deadlines and to operate effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills (written/verbal)
- Must be hands-on while also bringing experience managing teams and effective people management skills
- Proven ability to work with teams across various geographical locations and time zones
- Professional certification e.g. CFA, CPA preferred but not required;
- Direct experience in alternatives fund sales and existing network of contacts is considered a plus
