The HR Generalist is responsible for smooth HR operations and leading some key employee engagement programs (e.g., employee communications, recognition, EVP roadshow) to ensure the best HR practices to the new plant set-up. You will be our proactive guardian position, ensuring that Pall HR processes are implemented and sustained to ensure the best People and Organization Development also for future growth.
The HR Generalist will report to the Senior HR Manager and will be located in our Benoi Singapore Manufacturing site.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support a broad spectrum of HR operational activities including but not limited to talent acquisition and management, on-boarding and exits, performance management, learning and development, employee database management, end-to-end benefits administration, process documentation- Lead internal communications and design a creative employee engagement program e.g., new joiner introductions, HR-related initiatives for newsletters, Well-being, D&I, Sustainability program- Manage government portal related to training, subsidy, Work pass, grant, statistics etc.- Managing group employee insurance policies and renewals, updating employee movement, assisting employees on claims-related matters etc.- Provide administration support in staffing activities, employee queries related to systems, claims, leave, benefits, etc.- Any other ad-hoc HR tasks/projects as assigned
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in performing HR generalist functions- Experience working in the manufacturing/plant- Well-versed in Singapore local employment act and work pass matters- High degree of soft attributes in the areas of confidentiality, maturity, professionalism and discretion
It would be a plus if you also possess:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)- Knowledge of HR best practices, HR analytics and training-related function
