**Title: G**ame** **Art Lead**

Department: Product

Report To: Product Director

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the art direction and asset delivery is of industry-leading quality.
- Adhere to the art vision goals and visual rules for the project making sure all work meets these requirements.
- Ensure that the work of the team follows quality standards, and artistic direction, and set project deadlines.
- Support the implementation of project art direction with other members of the team and get stuck in with hands-on work.
- Work with other disciplines to establish technical and aesthetic guidelines for art in the game.
- Establish, develop, and maintain the game’s artistic style and visual quality.
- Liaise with the outsource vendors and manage the productions including reviewing the artwork.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in producing art for games including 2 years experience in leading a team.
- Experience with multiple games and ability to work across varied art styles.
- Strong foundation in 2D and 3D work.
- Deep understanding of lighting and material.
- Strong working knowledge of either 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Able to finish environment model creation, UV edit, material creation, and texture baking.
- Knowledge of gaming trends, and art preferences of gamers.

**Salary**: $5,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
