**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**
- You will be involved in developing and implementing new sustainable and smart initiatives e.g. Pneumatic Waste Collection System, alternative waste management systems such as Waste to Energy systems, Centralised Cooling Systems, Smart Lighting etc. projects for both existing and new developments. You will need to have an inquisitive mind, be resourceful and are able to work independently to innovate and identify feasible urban solutions for research, testbed and implementation. You should also be able to work with Multi-Disciplinary teams and be responsible for working with them to implement the initiatives at HDB towns and estates. You will also be given the opportunity to be involved with the planning, design and construction supervision of mechanical services including sanitary, plumbing, gas, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, integrated building management system, fire-fighting systems, etc. for public housing development.

**What we are looking for**
- You should be a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) and possess about 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience in design, supervision of installation, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems. You should be familiar with drafting technical specifications and local statutory requirements. You should have strong technical problem solving skills, with the ability to conceptualise and carry out feasibility studies on mechanical component, equipment and systems. You should also have good writing and communication skills.
