**What the role is**
- The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is a Government agency under the Prime Minister's Office responsible for the investigation and prevention of corruption in Singapore. It ensures that zero tolerance towards corruption is maintained, and Singapore remains corruption-free.

**What you will be working on**
- The Finance and Procurement (FP) Branch under Finance and Administrative Division undertakes financial management, budgeting, payroll administration, accounting for assets, and procurement duties.
As Executive / Senior Executive (Finance and Procurement), you will perform the day-to-day operations, administrative support activities and other responsibilities in various areas of the Finance and Procurement branch. This includes (but not limited to) the following:

- [Governance & Risk Management] Assist to review and evaluate the Branch’s internal control framework and risk strategies, and advise on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and potential risk areas.
- [Budget Planning & Administration] Ability to plan and implement the annual budget activities and framework according to budget cycle timeline, including discussing budget returns with other work units and advising them on the implications and potential impact to the organisation.
- [Costing & Resource Optimisation] Knowledge of the concepts of cost, costing tools and techniques (e.g., cost-benefit analysis, variance analysis, activity-based costing) so as to work closely with other work units to assess, plan and prioritise needs and projects including considering alternative funding sources, in alignment to the strategic outcomes and objectives of the organisation.
- [Performance Management] Assist to deploy measures and systems to monitor and report on how the organisation performs and utilises its budget, including recommending and implementing appropriate actions that would yield (a) improvements in budget utilisation rate and performance; and (b) effective performance monitoring
- [Procurement Operations] Handling of procurement transactions which include (a) overseeing/monitoring execution of procurement operations for accuracy and consistency with policies and processes; and (b) advising on impact of any changes to procurement operations, efficiency, effectiveness and control oversight.
- Work closely with Admin and Facilities Branch to enhance the quality of services provided to internal and external customers.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

**What we are looking for**
- If you meet the following pre-requisites and can identify with our mission, join us now
- Having 2 to 3 years of working experience as a finance and procurement officer and familiarity in the Government finance and procurement processes (e.g. cash and accrual accounting, NFS, HRP, GeBIZ systems, Instruction Manuals and Finance Circulars) will be an advantage;
- [Thinking Clearly and Making Sound Judgements] Organised, meticulous, able to multi-task and maintain quality work under pressure. Strong ability to analyse problems and translates analysis into appropriate actions;
- [Working Effectively with Stakeholders] Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels and in a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- [Improving & Innovating Continuously] Prior experience in productivity tools (e.g. Robotics Process Automation, dashboarding, and Workflow) will be an advantage;
