[What the role is]

DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, 1 FINANCIAL PLANNING

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team in charge of LTA’s financial planning and financial resource management/governance. You will be involved in a broad spectrum of financial planning functions, comprising key functions as follows (1) Planning and running the annual budget exercise, which includes compilation and review of budget proposals during annual budget exercises, preparation of consolidated budget proposals to LTA Management and Ministry, (2) Budget utilisation monitoring & preparation of management reports/variance analysis on budgets utilisation, (3) Provide management analysis and information support to enable strategic planning, controlling and decision making, (4) Business partner to selected LTA Groups, which includes provision of budget advisory services and support to internal stakeholders for their projects and operational funding needs, review of funding proposals for submission to LTA Management or Ministry, (5) Propose and update of LTA systems’ budget related transactions/records, and (6) Raise service requests for system changes to meet new/revised business needs or for efficiency/productivity needs etc.

Your role will also require you to work closely with Ministries to propose, review and justify funding models/needs to secure the required funding during Ministry’s Block Budget Exercise.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification such as engineering. For tertiary qualification of non-accountancy discipline, relevant experience in financial planning of minimum 2 years is required.
- At least 2 years relevant working experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, resourceful and able to work independently.
- Hands-on and effective team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI will be an added advantage.
