Position Summary
Reporting into the Regional CEO, you will set the vision and strategy, be accountable for execution and represent the culture that Matterkind Singapore needs to continue its success into the next era of digital marketing.
As Head of Matterkind, RHQ Singapore, you will lead all current and emerging advertising experiences delivered through addressable media. You’ll take responsibility for the sales and service of all clients and agency partners for the business to evolve our programmatic media offering. Collaborating across MediaBrands (UM, Initiative), diverse agencies (Reprise, Rapport, Orion, IPG Media Lab), you will lead the addressable media agenda. You have the skills necessary to demystify complex technical elements of today’s rapidly evolving digital advertising landscape across businesses and disciplines to focus on marketing objectives.
They will be able to articulate technical terms in a simple, client friendly manner. You will lead a high performance team in this role and will be responsible for building, training, retaining, engaging and knowledge-sharing with this team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Matterkind Singapore business including the positioning, business model, structure and culture, by having the right people in the right roles to ensure continued success. This includes regional activation of global brands - with a focus on South East Asian market. Drive revenue growth and margin to guarantee the continued prioritization of resources and investment in future capabilities. Own the relationship and billings targets for the portfolio of clients. Partner with critical clients, ensuring high levels of understanding and satisfaction, with resulting appropriate levels of media investment in programmatic. Responsible for the success of strategy and activation of clients through flawless campaign execution and team integration, supported by the Addressable Strategy and Activation teams. Act as the key point of escalation for agency planning teams across all clients. Lead an innovative approach to solve clients’ media and business challenges and effectively present ideas with strong, data-driven rationale. Utilize knowledge of our data and technological capabilities to ensure that clients are continuously educated on what is currently possible, what’s coming next, and to address any specific business challenges. Monitor client bookings, track campaign dollars, and ensure that every campaign is meeting or exceeding client key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage team workload and develop solutions for resourcing challenges to be communicated to the leadership team. Lead the training, career growth and feedback sharing for the team. Create and facilitate personal development plans for all team members through coaching, feedback, and training. Collaborate on and review outgoing materials for large strategic proposals to ensure top-quality work and provide coaching to team members. Identify potential challenges and opportunities as it relates to client management and provide solutions to the Agency Partnership Leads. Maintain an accurate financial pipeline across the portfolio of clients. Participate in media partner meetings as required to identify new client opportunities and continue to expand knowledge of the ecosystem. Maintain and continue to develop a strong knowledge of the addressable ecosystem. Build and own relationships with agency partners as their key point of contact to Matterkind. Be responsible for engaging with the agencies to deliver and communicate strategic addressable solutions based on clients objectives and briefs. Identify areas of opportunities to drive innovation and additional revenue streams.
