Job summary
AWS is seeking a talented, self-directed Senior Startup Marketing Manager - ASEAN to join the ASEAN Marketing team.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering innovative marketing programs for one of the most impactful customer segments: startup companies. The world’s most successful startups are built on top of AWS including more than 90% of the Y Combinator Top 100 and more than 80% of the Forbes Next Billion Dollar Companies. The person in this role will be responsible for creating and executing demand generation programs and campaigns, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders (including the sales, business development, solution architects, etc.) as well as external parties (such as agencies, media, venture capitalists, startup incubators, etc. ). Ideally, you have experience working with startup companies, VC firms and incubators. You have an innate understanding for entrepreneurs, company founders and technical decision makers at early stage companies. You are knowledgeable about current state of the art cloud technologies and understand how technical decisions impact the success of fledgling companies. You also have a track record of building successful, metrics driven, scalable, customer centric marketing programs.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and deliver innovative, scalable and impactful marketing programs for startups, in ASEAN. It includes large scale online events, startup competitions, educational webinar series, digital campaigns, third-party events sponsorships, customer references programs, e-content.
- Craft and develop content and messaging resonating with and engaging the startup community. It includes messaging and tools focused on customers (solution videos, customer success stories, etc.) for use on the web, at live events and in customer facing programs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and make sure the marketing programs are aligned with the goals of the AWS’s sales and business development teams.
- Create and successfully drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS, ultimately delivering opportunities and pipeline for the sales team.
- Collaborate with and coordinate third parties, in order to scale your programs across the region. It includes marketing agencies, startup incubators, venture capitalists, startup media
- Collaborate closely with cross functional and regional teams to design and implement programs and campaigns that positively impacts business growth and enhance AWS reputation.
