**Summary Role**:
Maxeon is seeking a world-class Senior Staff R&D Module Deployment Engineer based in Singapore. It is expected that most of this work will be carried out at a new state-of-the-art Maxeon RD&D Laboratory to be created in Singapore. Job responsibilities include research and development of new solar technology that pushes the limit of efficiency at lower cost, working closely with Maxeon’s renowned US based R&D team, and supporting existing teams in deploying and optimizing solar technology at Maxeon’s factories. This work is expected to include both cell and module technology development for Maxeon’s advanced product portfolio. The goal of these activities is to support Maxeon’s business objectives, including market expansion, with targeted advanced technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Fab/Modco teams to develop and help deploy advanced high efficiency state of the art module products using next generation manufacturing technologies.
Innovate relentlessly on new module designs to reduce cost, improve manufacturability, and enhance reliability or meet new market segment needs.
Ensure that your project milestones and deliverables are met, delivered on time, and adhere to approved budgets.
Work closely with Maxeon organizations outside of the Singapore location.
Help develop company technology and product goals, plan technology projects and deliver these goals using the Maxeon business processes.
Provide excellent communication within Maxeon to facilitate tracking and coordinating technology and product development goals and milestones.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Masters Degree with at least 4 years additional relevant R&D experience or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to lead complex interdisciplinary projects to achieve goals on time and on budget.
Proven record of working very effectively with multiple organizations both within a company and outside the company.
Detailed design and deployment experience including DFM, tolerance stackups, equipment specification and qualification, vendor management, DFMEA and PFMEA, prototyping and lab experimentation, new process development, NPV analysis, material specifications, and DOEs.
Familiarity with manufacturing process flows, Yamazumi UPH analyses, SPC charts, and other process monitoring and control methods.
Experience with failure analysis and resolution techniques such as 5 whys, 8D, and Ishikawa diagrams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on flexible thinking and creativity.
Willing to travel in Asia, Mexico, and US up to 25% of the time.

Preferred requirements Strong process and characterization skills in solar modules or other high volume manufacturing products.
Expert knowledge of PV module product landscape and high value add market opportunities.
Detailed understanding of PV module downstream requirements from installers and project developers.
Programing and modelling experience (e.g. Python, C++, JMP, R, etc).
Familiarity with solar cell factory production and solar panel manufacturing.
Substantial knowledge of PV cell and module reliability, including modeling and testing.
Good understanding of people and project management principles.
Knowledge of laboratory and equipment safety standards.
