**Purpose of the role**
- Implement the regional Marketing strategies (APAC) for specific dedicated segments and countries of responsibility (Product segment architecture, strategy, roadmaps) together with sales managers
- Contribute to the PC&AI results by managing the regional PC&AI Marketing and portfolio development objectives for specific dedicated segments (Photo-Protection, Bioactives, Tech. & Performance Ingredients, Aroma Ingredients) according to the Global Marketing guidelines: on time, on budget, within overall strategy and based on consumer and customer needs
- Provide technical know-how and information to Sales force for dedicated segments, regions and country of responsibility
- Manages regional (APAC) product launches
- Support collaboration projects with key customers and further portfolio development in collaboration with Sales and Regional Application Centre team thru local substantiation
**The Role**
The Regional Marketing Manager reports to the Director, Personal Care and Aroma Ingredients APAC and works in close collaboration Global Senior Marketing Managers of the Bioactives, Photo-protection, Tech. & Performance Ingredients, Aroma Ingredients segments and country sales managers.
**Key areas of accountability/responsibility
**Implementation Regional Marketing strategy following the Global Marketing guidelines in line with the overall PC&AI Strategy and based on regional consumer and customer insights as well as the Market (segment/sub segment), size, growth and trends.
- Building and managing business cases for new product developments
- Priority setting across product segments (in line with overall BU PC&AI Strategy)
- Identify potential external alliance partners and consultants
- Analyze regional key customers per segment and develop detailed individual action plans to upgrade the relationships with the customers and prepare the ground for Sales conversations not only with their Purchasing and R&D but also with Marketing and Management.
- Contribute to the identification and acquisition of customers for market solutions services and the definition of related projects
Manage product launches in region:
- Ensure implementation of launch plans provided by Regional Marketing Manager in line with Global Marketing incl. training of PC&AI sales force and distributors.
- Ensure collaboration with the sales force in the regions in realizing the desired turnover for newly launched products
Provide support to regional Sales force/Global Marketing:
- Provide technical know-how and information to Sales force and distributors
- Support Global Marketing and regional Sales organization and distribution partners at regular customer visits.
Align with Regional/Global Marketing Managers on prioritization of activities
Promote and support local testing platform for local collaborations with key customers and portfolio local substantiation
- Bachelor/Master in Science, or in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience, Life science background preferable
- Experience in B2C business, Cosmetics or Cosmetics Ingredients industry, in particular within Skin Care segment
- Capability to understand customer needs
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with respect to both customers and in-house staff
- Capability to prioritize activities based maximum output
