We are looking for an experienced operations manager to assist the Director of Planning & Operations and the lead of research operations in managing the research operations of the A*STAR Skin Research Labs (SRL). **Roles & Responslbllities**: Space management Central supplies procurement management Goods receipt management Event coordination, e.g. Lab Tours, management visits A*STAR SRL mailbox management Key liaison with the A*STAR facilities management to ensure a safe work environment Key liaison with the A*STAR IT support team on IT matters Assist with other exigencies of Research Operations activities such as covering lab operations **Job Requirements**: A degree In the Sciences or related discipline At least 5 years of relevant experience in a research environment with demonstrated operational expertise Experience in administration and lab operations will be a definite advantage Highly organized and enfoys establishing processes, documentation, and administration Self-motivated, detail-oriented and systematic, with strong process orientation, problem solving skills, multitasking abilities and open to leveraging technology to simplify processes Resilient and adaptable when managing challenges and unexpected situations Exercises sound judgment and initiative when carrying out assigned duties Proactive team player with a positive "can-do" attitude An effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging stakeholders of all levels.
