Description Strengthen and maintain the compliance framework - including the development, review, and enhancement of key policies and Standard Operating Procedures in alignment with the Payment Services Act. Lead Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) activities by analysing risks across customer types, products, and geographies to ensure accurate risk profiling. Act as senior adjudication point for complex AML/CFT cases, including high-risk merchant onboarding and transaction monitoring escalations. Support system calibration efforts by refining transaction monitoring and name-screening parameters to improve detection quality and control effectiveness. Partner with senior leadership on regional licensing initiatives, regulatory engagement, and submissions for new payment service applications. Profile At least 6 years of hands-on compliance experience within payment services or regulated financial institutions. Proven expertise across AML/CFT, CDD/KYC, transaction monitoring, and sanctions compliance. Formal compliance qualification such as ACAMS or ICA is required. Proactive, analytical, and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
