We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Inforce Management. Principal Responsibilities In this role you will Strategic Initiatives Plan and execute strategic campaigns to improve persistency, take up rate and achievement of business KPIs. Monitor the performance of new product launches and campaign performance metrics including sales volume, average case size, premium term and profitability margin. Engage distribution and internal stakeholders, manage campaign related queries and leverage feedback to enhance the effectiveness and design of future campaigns; Lead campaign fulfilment activities such as validation and coordination with operation teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining proper controls. Inforce Management: Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects relating to the management of the inforce business including assessing profitability and solvency impact from initiatives to optimise the value of the inforce block of business. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen collaboration with other lines of business Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support the review of assumptions, pricing models and reinsurance treaties from the pricing team and reinsurance team respectively. Collaborate with the actuarial team on the management of profitability for Index Universal Life products, lapse monitoring and actions to improve persistency. Governance Ensure adherence to internal policies in all campaign and inforce management actives, maintaining compliance with corporate standards and regulatory expectations. Qualifications To be successful you will need Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field Progress towards actuarial qualifications (SOA, IFoA, IoAA or equivalent) preferred Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional collaboration Analytical and curious, with a balance of technical discipline and commercial sense Organised and able to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment Opening up a world of opportunity http://www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
