Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Structural Drafting
  • Produce structural drawings (GA plans, sections, elevations, reinforced concrete detailing, steel detailing).
  • Develop detailed shop drawings, rebar schedules, and fabrication details.
  • Update drawings based on engineers' calculations, mark-ups, and design instructions.
Documentation & Coordination
  • Maintain drawing registers, version control, and proper file naming conventions.
  • Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, M&E teams, and site teams to resolve drawing issues.
  • Incorporate feedback from consultants, contractors, and authorities.
Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and company drafting guidelines.
  • Perform self-checks on drawings for accuracy and clarity before submission.
  • Support preparation of submission drawings for BCA or PE review (if applicable).
Technical Support
  • Provide CAD-related support to project teams (e.g., templates, scaling, plotting).
  • Assist in converting sketches, PDFs, or hand drawings into AutoCAD format.
Requirements
  • Diploma / NITEC in Civil, Structural, Architectural or related drafting discipline.
  • 1–5 years of experience in structural drafting (depending on seniority).
  • Experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of structural systems: RC, precast, steel detailing.
  • Familiarity with Singapore codes and standards is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple drawings simultaneously.
