We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician based in Tuas, Singapore. This onsite role reports to the Power Gen Service Operation Manager. Responsibilities include diagnosing and performing less complex engine repairs at customer sites, with travel within Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers courteously and professionally.
- Ensure prompt attention to customer needs.
- Use specialized tools and follow documented procedures for diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on engines and components.
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Complete documentation accurately.
- Identify additional service opportunities.
- Attend required training.
- Maintain service vehicle and tools.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or equivalent from a technical institution.
- Locally valid driving permit, Class 3 license preferred.
- Basic field service experience and knowledge of engine products.
- Customer service experience.
Additional Requirements
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.
- Possibility of licensing for export controls or sanctions.
- Ability to work overtime and on emergency calls.
- Experience in marine, industrial, new projects, or automotive trades preferred.
- No cross-border relocation support provided.
