As we rapidly expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a motivated and creative Media Intern to help build a world-class video content library that will drive sales & reach.

Job Description

About the Role & Mission:

This is a hands-on, high-volume internship where you will be tasked with transforming our entire product catalog into engaging video content. You will be the sole creator responsible for the end-to-end production of our crucial e-commerce video assets.

The core mission is to film, edit, and publish product videos for all products we sell, ensuring these assets are optimized for maximum visibility and conversion.

Key Responsibilities (End-to-End Production):

The intern will manage the full lifecycle of video content creation, including:

1. Pre-Production & Planning:

2. Research product features, benefits, and target audience to develop effective video concepts and scripts (typically 30-90 second demonstrations).

3. Develop an efficient content production schedule to systematically film the entire product catalogue within the internship period.

4. Organize and prepare products, props, and shooting locations for a professional studio setup.

5. Production (Filming):

6. Operate camera, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality, professional product footage (demonstrations, unboxings, short promotional clips).

7. Ensure all footage is visually compelling and clearly showcases the product in use, aligning with the "Being Kids" brand standards.

8. Post-Production (Editing & Optimization):

9. Edit raw footage efficiently using industry-standard software.

10. Add brand-appropriate music, voiceovers, text overlays, and basic motion graphics to highlight key features.
11. Optimize and render videos in various resolutions and aspect ratios required for different platforms (e.g., horizontal for YouTube, vertical for Reels/TikTok, square for some e-commerce sites).

Requirements & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma/Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Digital Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut).
• Familiarity with operating a video camera and basic studio lighting setups.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus for creating thumbnail graphics.

Personal Attributes:

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently to manage a heavy content pipeline.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in file management for global distribution.
• A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video work (student projects welcome).
