Laboratory Support Assistant / Assistant Scientific Executive

Contract Duration: 11 months (renewable or convertible to permanent based on performance and business needs)

Location: Near Kent Ridge MRT

Work Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–6:00pm | Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm

Salary: $13.60 – $14.70 per hour

About the Role:

Join a specialised institute supporting national health, safety, and environmental initiatives. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin & Logistics Support Assistant to help manage daily laboratory operations, track processes, coordinate logistics, and support customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve work processes and enhance customer service quality.
  • Conduct customer service surveys, analyse feedback, and implement process improvements.
  • Track application payments and dosimeter issuance for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate dosimeter preparation, distribution, and courier services to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform quality checks on returned dosimeters, maintain communication with customers, and manage courier job lists for quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in any field of study.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in administrative, operational, or customer service roles; experience in a laboratory, technical, or service-based environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dosimeters or technical equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong administrative or logistics coordination experience is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
