Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Product Manager to drive the evolution of equity trading platform. The ideal candidate brings solid market knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable product enhancements. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class client trading experience.
Responsibilities
- Market & Product Insight
- Maintain a deep understanding of equity trading products and evolving market trends.
- Anticipate client needs and ensure the platform remains competitive and opportunity-driven.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, wealth business units, and regional teams.
- Promote a collaborative, innovative environment to drive creativity and efficiency.
- Project & Delivery Management
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
- Gather and prioritise requirements aligned to business objectives.
- Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful releases.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies effectively.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate product milestones, changes, and updates clearly and consistently.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse platform usage, client feedback, and market insights to optimise user journeys.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trading performance and user experience.
- Business Continuity & Support
- Support user live verification (ULV) for releases and platform maintenance.
- Assist with production issues and recommend enhancements where needed.
- Maintain key back-office configurations, including trading calendars.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or any related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or platform delivery roles.
- Solid understanding of equity trading products and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by delivering impactful results.
