The Job

The Overdraft Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and growth of the bank's overdraft lending for corporate clients. This includes P&L ownership, product innovation, and compliance, ensuring the portfolio is profitable, scalable, and meets client working capital needs. The role focuses on shaping the product, improving profitability and client experience, and driving competitiveness in a digital lending landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy & Proposition
  2. Define and execute overdraft strategy for corporate segments (SME, Mid Cap, Large Corporates).
  3. Identify growth opportunities and product enhancements.
  4. Align with working capital and transaction banking solutions.

  5. P&L Ownership & Performance

  6. Manage product P&L, pricing, utilization, and margins.

  7. Track KPIs: portfolio size, yield, usage, cost of funds, loss rates.
  8. Drive initiatives to improve returns and efficiency.

  9. Product Development & Lifecycle

  10. Lead new features (digital onboarding, credit line management).

  11. Work with tech, credit, legal, compliance, and ops for delivery.
  12. Ensure operational readiness and smooth client experience.

  13. Risk & Governance

  14. Partner with Credit Risk on limits and monitoring.

  15. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  16. Embed controls for credit, operational, and conduct risks.

  17. Stakeholder Management

  18. Collaborate with RMs, Credit, Treasury, Ops, Legal.

  19. Act as SME for overdraft in client pitches and training

The Talent

  • Minimally 6-10 years in corporate banking, lending, or working capital products.
  • Knowledge of overdraft/revolving credit, credit frameworks, and regulations.
  • Experience in digital lending journeys preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Degree in Business/Finance/Economics; MBA a plus.
