We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our academic team to deliver high-quality instruction across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.  The successful candidate will play a key role in curriculum delivery, student mentoring, and academic development in the field of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions across undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

Develop and update teaching materials, lesson plans, course specifications, and assessment tools in line with curriculum requirements.

Facilitate student learning through interactive classroom environments, blended learning platforms, and real-world project-based teaching.

Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, examinations, presentations, and practical assessments.

Provide academic and career guidance to students; act as an academic advisor and mentor.

Participate in curriculum review and development to ensure relevance to industry standards and academic quality.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in the IT field and adopt innovative teaching practices.

Contribute to departmental meetings, quality assurance processes, and academic reporting as required.

Support student activities, clubs, and industry engagement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master's Degree (PhD preferred) in Business, Finance / Accounting and IT
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of core IT subjects - programming, databases, networking, systems analysis, cybersecurity, and software development; Finance and Accounting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS)
  • Pedagogical training or teaching certification (e.g. ACLP, PGCert, PGCHE, Diploma in Education and Training)
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard, MS Teams)
  • Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply
