Job Description

As an Associate (Accounts Receivable), you will play a key role in supporting the finance team's daily operations. Your responsibilities include the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, revenue reconciliation, month-end closing activities, payment follow-ups, compliance reporting and audit support. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams and business partners to ensure billing accuracy, financial compliance, and operational efficiency.

You will need to:

  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of client invoices.
  • Respond to billing-related inquiries from customers, next-of-kin, and internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
  • Monitor customers' aging reports, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely collections.
  • Perform balance sheet and payment reconciliations.
  • Participate in month-end closing activities.
  • Address interface issues between clinical and billing systems.
  • Manage finance-related configurations in the billing system (e.g. price tables, product lists).
  • Support compliance processes, Ministry of Health (MOH) audits, and statutory audits.
  • Assist in continuous process improvement to streamline AR functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and workflow/process improvements.
  • Participate in internal training or knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Provide support for team coverage as needed.
Qualifications

You should have:

  • A Diploma in Accounting from a local polytechnic or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in maintaining partial or full sets of account
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheet
  • Experience with SAP or CRMS systems will be an added advantag
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, commitment, discretion, and teamwor
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
