Position: Social Work Practitioner / Counsellor / Case Manager (KidSTART)

Location: 643 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, Singapore 560643

Type: Full Time, Non-executive

Experience: Minimum 2 years in social services or early childhood development

Salary: $3,850 to $4,700 per month

Responsibilities
  • Provide support, guidance, knowledge, and skills to enhance parents' capacity in child development through home visits.
  • Assess and motivate parents to practice and apply child development knowledge and skills.
  • Create learning opportunities for parents on parent-child interaction, development-centred parenting, and family well-being.
  • Share information on health services, early childhood development, and developmental issues with support from a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with community agencies like FSCs and SSOs for holistic family support, including case conferences.
  • Deliver tiered child development support/intervention based on needs, conduct screenings and assessments.
  • Maintain administrative duties, including case notes and timely uploads to SSNet.
  • Attend relevant training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Degree in early childhood, psychology, nursing, social work, counselling, or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience in early childhood development or social services.
  • Adaptable to organizational changes.
  • Willing to work some weekday evenings and weekends.
