The Opportunity

Adecco is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead a small team (2 headcounts) for a well-established international logistics and freight forwarding company. In this leadership role, you will steer the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities, strengthen key client relationships, and drive overall revenue growth.

  • Permanent, Full-time opportunity
  • Location: East
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: up to $15,000 + VB + Transportation allowance

The Job

  • Lead business planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn organisational goals into actionable commercial initiatives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring solutions and strategies align with customer needs and business priorities.
  • Design and implement go-to-market plans and initiatives that enhance competitiveness and increase market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to facilitate collaboration, communication, and business growth.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance metrics to provide insights that guide revenue planning and target achievement across Asia.
  • Take ownership of P&L for assigned markets, ensuring sustainable profitability and long-term growth.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development, sales, account management, marketing, commercial management, or related functions.
  • Prior experience in third-party logistics (3PL), e-commerce logistics, freight forwarding, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
