About the Role

We are hiring experienced M&E Quantity Surveyors for two exciting opportunities with a leading main contracting company in Singapore:

Position 1: Tender Team Role (Buildings) – Office-based, responsible for preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and budgets for upcoming projects.

Position 2: Project Role (Buildings) – Site-based, managing cost control, contracts, and procurement throughout the construction phase.

Both positions involve mechanical and electrical works, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and quality from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (varies by role)

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E works at feasibility, design, and construction stages.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring effective cost control and forecasting.
  • Prepare tender documents, including BOQs, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Evaluate tenders, negotiate, and recommend contract awards.
  • Administer contracts, manage variations/claims, and prepare final accounts.
  • Produce regular cost reports and financial forecasts.
  • For site roles: Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Atleast 3–5 years in M&E quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and M&E systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in cost management tools (CostX, CCS, or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
