At The Providore , we believe that good food should be honest, wholesome, and delicious. Beyond our cafés, delis, and retail stores, we are constantly innovating to create new food experiences that excite and inspire our customers. We are looking for a passionate and creative R&D Food Technologist to join our team full-time and play a key role in our product development journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, development, and testing of new food products, recipes, and formulations that align with The Providore's brand values.
  • Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life testing to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with Chefs, Operations, and Supply Chain to scale recipes for commercial production.
  • Ensure all new product developments comply with Singapore's food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Source and evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and suppliers to support product innovation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of product development processes and specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience in R&D, product development, or food manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SFA/MOH food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated by food innovation.
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills.
