Beyond our cafés, delis, and retail stores, we are constantly innovating to create new food experiences that excite and inspire our customers. We are looking for a passionate and creative R&D Food Technologist to join our team full-time and play a key role in our product development journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, development, and testing of new food products, recipes, and formulations that align with The Providore's brand values.
  • Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life testing to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with Chefs, Operations, and Supply Chain to scale recipes for commercial production.
  • Ensure all new product developments comply with Singapore's food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Source and evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and suppliers to support product innovation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of product development processes and specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience in R&D, product development, or food manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SFA/MOH food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated by food innovation.
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills.
