Position: Temp Quality Control Assistant

Job Description:


• Perform quality inspections for all in-coming stocks delivered daily by flow- through suppliers and ensure adherence to quality standards in product specifications


• Ensure that products accepted comply with quality standards and food safety requirements set by the organization


• Identify gaps opportunities and communicate them to immediate superior during quality inspections and daily warehouse operations for immediate resolution


• Perform tasks in multi-temperature (chilled / frozen) environment


• Perform periodic quality checks for balance or out-going stocks in chilled storage


• Maintain records of quality inspections


• Ensure cleanliness of workplace and leave equipment in good working order after each inspection


• Assist in investigating and finding of any food safety related issues raised either by customer or from operations feedback


• Perform physical activities (sorting and lifting of heavy cartons) to conduct sample checks or verify quality issues as the need arise


• Assist in furnishing daily rejection reports to be shared across related departments


• Work closely with DC Operations team for smooth and effective receiving process and tasks

Job Requirements:


• Able to perform operational tasks of carrying loads for inspection


• An eye for details on quality expectation


• Ability to learn and the passion to be trained


• Ability to communicate across all departments and suppliers


• Able to write and communicate in English


• Know simple MS Office applications especially Excel and TEAMS


• Discipline with excellent time management for completing QC task


• Experience working in Quality Control in Distribution Centre will be an added advantage
